We're Having Winter!

After 8 inches last night in Courtenay, we were issued this warning (see below) this morning. Not bad (good?) for the first day of winter! The picture is from just south of us at Cook Creek Intersection with Hwy 19.

Let's do a poll on snow depth - HOW MUCH SNOW IN YOUR AREA? Please put it in the comments section.

We've got about 12 inches here. We went up into the bush on friday to get a tree. It was -25 and the snow was almost up to the top of my legs! We don't have that much down here though.....probably about 12 inches...and apparently this cold weather is going to make sure that the snow sticks around and we have a WHITE Christmas!
