Well, I've wondered different times what a New Year's Day Polar Bear Swim was like. So, this year I decided that I'd give it a try. Anika and Alaina also bravely joined in! Alexandra preferred to stay on shore and watch. (maybe she was the smart one among us? :-) ) Suffice to say, the water was FREEZING. It was a bright and sunny day and a memory was created. Wonder if it'll become a tradition?
